I have an idea for a background for the main menu.
I tried it and it looks great.
If you want to add it manually just create directory /game/data/gfx/mainmenu and put it there as background.jpg
Taken from bigfoto website and requires adding a link to the original website as copyright...

heh, I could take my own, nearly identical picture of a place near me (about a 5 min walk) and then photoshop it to look more like this too if DG wants one that doesnt have the copyright strings attached...

no snow or aspens though...
